
About the University
Anhui Medical University is a major state university jointly established by the Anhui Provincial Government, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Ministry of Education. It was founded in Shanghai in 1926. Formerly known as South East Medical College. The university went through several renamings and relocations, and finally in 1985 the National Board of Education approved the proposal to rename the university to Anhui Medical College.
University Campuses
The university currently has four major campus areas-Meishan Road Area Campus, Feicui Road Area Campus, East Campus (under construction) and Chaohu School of Clinical Medicine Campus, with a total area of 1.21 km². The university is composed of 16 directly affiliated hospitals, and there are 6 directly affiliated hospitals (1st affiliated hospital, 2nd affiliated hospital, 4th affiliated hospital, Chao Lake affiliated hospital, Fuyang affiliated hospital, Anhui Dental Hospital).
Indian Students
